A-Team Consultants development would sit at the southeast corner of Fairview Avenue and 3rd Street. It would feature a mix of 30 townhomes and single-family homes and 90 multi-family units.
The townhomes and single-family homes would be alley loaded with the front facing a walking path, with two-car garages and guest parking.
“The color composition for the buildings will be a mixture of earth tones,” the application letter said. “…The buildings are proposed with a craftsman style finishes with extensive outdoor decking, and each unit will be provided with a minimum of 80 square feet of private open space.”
The application letter said the multi-family buildings would use similar accents. There would be 45 of each style: one bed, one bath, and two beds, two baths.
There is also a proposed 16,946 square foot pocket park in the cottage area. This would include a plaza and sitting area, a dog park, and a community garden. The multi-family section would have an 8,907 square foot area for a clubhouse and pool. The application also includes two gazebos and plazas.
“Our vision is to promote a residential development to increase a variety of housing choices with the city,” the application said. “This site is centrally located in an area of the city that has been developed with a significant amount of residential and commercial uses around it. The proposed townhomes will provide a mix of housing types that the city promotes and is needed. The multi-family will offer a variety o unit types. There are entertainment and employment centers in close proximity to the proposed development.”
The applicant will be in front of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission on November 3 requesting preliminary plat, a rezone, and conditional use permits approval for Promenade Cottages Subdivision.
